After examining my gun and reading up on the MAK 90 seems that many of them came with a muzzle nut screwed over the threads and possibly tack welded on.MAK-90s were made to shoot 7.62x39 or .223 caliber ammunition. A very few were made to shoot 5.45 x 39 ammo. The retail price for a new MAK-90s was often less than $200.
