On various postings I find references to problems with the SDS100 where it stopped working, receiving, etc. Many of these were posted when the unit first hit the market and referenced a " cold solde r" issue.If this test still has the "Low Voltage" problem then try using the Mini-USB cable and power USB power supply that came with the SDS100 (without the GPS). If that works, then there may be a problem with the Uniden BC-UTGC cable. On various postings I find references to problems with the SDS100 where it stopped working, receiving, etc. Many of these were posted when the unit first hit the market and referenced a " cold solde r" issue.I noticed the SDS100 has a dedicated battery pack so that is a buzzkill compared to AA batteries I'm used to. I will be required to purchase an extra battery and charger. I'm not totally against home unit because I generally only listen in the home but if the sound quality is good on the SDS100 and they generally same features I'd do mobile.1. If the main battery is dead I've had mine work fine 6mo+ later. Your battery could just have lost it's charge most likely. I soldered wires to the three pins on the USB plug first and then soldered the 3 different sets of wires to the leads. Solder the bare wires together. There were some users that were seeing the keypad lock on the SDS100 actually functioning through the Sentinel software in the early versions.
